IFAT Munich 2022

After a corona break, the world's leading international trade fair IFAT for environmental technology took place from May 30th to June 3rd. With 2,984 exhibitors from 59 countries and around 119,000 visitors from 155 countries, the fair is approaching the pre-Corona level. This reflects the enormous potential of environmental technologies. We, the Umwelt- und Ingenieurtechnik GmbH Dresden (UIT), did also experience the high number of participants and the response at our stand with pleasure. The proportion of foreign visitors was remarkably high.

The focus this year was centered on Engineering/Plant Construction – Water Technology.

The live presentations during the IFAT were particularly well received, showing our visitors the possibilities of modern plant design using virtual reality. Thus they did both, follow our presentations of plant design, and experience it virtually using 3D glasses. We are applying this technology successfully for years. This has given our clients at home and abroad the opportunity to inspect their plant virtually and to incorporate additions/optimizations into the design - often small details to optimize operation, etc. - before plant construction. Furthermore, our new catalog "Engineering/Plant Construction - Water Technology" was presented for the first time at the IFAT and is available in the download area.

We would like to thank our customers and all interested parties for visiting our exhibition stand and look forward to seeing you again soon.
