GBM Gleisbaumechanik Brandenburg/H. GmbH reached an agreement today with the Railway and Transport Union (EVG) to resolve the collective bargaining dispute, thereby ending the strike action.

The agreement is based on a forward-looking proposal that management and the works council developed jointly in the interest of all employees and presented during the negotiations. The solution provides a reliable outlook for the workforce as well as for the sustainable development of the company and the Kirchmöser site.

“The agreement is the result of a constructive dialogue and a shared understanding of our responsibility toward our employees and our company,” explains Andreas Klameth, Head of Human Resources and Legal Affairs for the General Atomics Europe Group. “We would like to extend our special thanks to the works council for its trusting and solution-oriented cooperation.”

Ramón Kroh, who joined GBM’s management team a few weeks ago, played a key role in the development of the joint proposal. His experience and dedication helped bring together the various perspectives and develop a sustainable solution.

“This agreement shows that we can work together to find good solutions even in difficult situations. Now we need to look ahead and continue to develop the GBM together,” says Ramón Kroh.

Management would also like to thank all employees for their dedication over the past few weeks. They have helped ensure that operations and ongoing projects continued as smoothly as possible, even during this challenging period.

With this agreement, GBM Gleisbaumechanik is sending a clear signal of cooperation, reliability and a joint future. The company will continue on its current path together with its workforce and strengthen the Kirchmöser location for the long term.
